Crossings guna empat bahasa

A Little Bit on Danny Boy

This is Danny Boy. His real name is Daniel Chun. A gadget geek from a young age, Danny does not have many friends. He likes to lock himself up in his room for days at a time, trying to come up with new exciting gadgets. The invention that he is most proud of is his 'Ghost Detector'.

Danny Boy aka Daniel Chun.

Danny believes that he is a genius. This is because when Danny was young, he participated in the National Kid's Invention Conference and won the Boy Genius Award for the invention that he created. Danny invented the 'Ray of Death Gun'. Nobody really knew what the invention was for, but it was so elaborate that it stood out from the other inventions.

The certificate is proudly hung on his room wall and shown to all who visits him (so far it's only been Bob and Katie).

Danny's most cherished award.

Danny and his father do not get along very well. Danny is constantly angry with his father, and the both of them argue all the time.

Danny's father works as a Chinese witchdoctor, or bomoh. His clients call him 'Sifu Chun'. They see him to assist them in communicating with the dead and to help them with their supernatural problems. Danny does not believe in his father's work and calls him a liar.

Can Sifu Chun really communicate with the dead? Sifu honestly believes he sometimes can, but no one really knows.

Danny's Father.

Ever since becoming friends with Bob and Katie, Danny's life has been much more interesting than it ever was. Danny feels important that they need him to chauffeur them around, even though he constantly makes remarks about petrol costs. He also likes showing off his 'ingenious' inventions to his friends.

What Danny likes most about his friendship with Bob is that he gets to try out his new ghost detecting gadgets on him.

As for Katie, no one really knows for sure what Danny is thinking.

Bob, Danny, Katie.

Here's some of Danny's inventions seen so far in "Crossings".

Danny's Ghost Detector. It blew up once, and then it never seemed to work again.

The helmet that Danny claimed enables them to communicate with spirits. It started to emit smoke when Bob tried it on.

And let's not forget, Danny's pride and joy, his car! Old and rundown but still steady and reliable, it brings Bob, Danny and Katie to all the places they need to go to!

The Mitsubishi Gallant.

What other gadgets and ideas will Danny come up with? With his skills, will he be able to help Bob solve the mystery of the 'Nemesis'? What are the problems with Danny and his father? What about Katie?

To find out more about Danny and his adventures with Bob and Katie, remember to stay tuned to "Crossings", on air every Friday, 8.30pm on ntv7.
